Technical information

Performance

Bank Wizard uses intelligent search techniques to ensure fast performance. Where Bank Wizard is embedded within applications, its response is near instantaneous. Bank Wizard checks over 2000 transactions per second dependent on processor speed and the particular country module.

Flexible applications and interfaces

Bank Wizard can be configured in the following ways for bank account validation:

Embedded
Bank Wizard provides a powerful Application Programming Interface (API) which allows it to be easily embedded within, or called by, any application such as billing, call centre, payroll, treasury or purchase ledger systems. Bank Wizard can be embedded within, or called by, applications that are written in almost any language (including C, C++, COBOL, Visual Basic, .NET, RPG and Java), database applications (including Oracle, SAP, SQL Server and Access) and web services/technologies (including IIS, Apache, Tomcat, SOAP, PHP, JSP and ASP).

Internet
Bank Wizard can be provided with an Internet toolkit which includes comprehensive examples of how to call Bank Wizard using Active Server Pages (ASP) and Java Server Pages (JSP).

Web service
Bank Wizard supports customer deployment using Web Services or a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), allowing a single instance of Bank Wizard to be accessed across an entire organisation.

File Scanning
Bank Wizard is available with an optional file scanning module which has the ability to scan a file generated from another application and undertake the validation in batch mode. A variety of file formats can be imported including fixed field-length and comma-separated value (CSV) files.

Direct User Interface
Bank Wizard can be provided with a Direct User Interface (Windows based), that allows a user to simply key in the bank/branch code and account number. This application of Bank Wizard undertakes the validation and returns the results instantaneously to the user’s screen and does not require any programming resource to implement.
