Eiger Systems at SIBOS 2007 

For the second year running, Eiger Systems exhibited at SIBOS, the world’s largest financial services event, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Over five busy days we showcased two new products which will help organisations like yours benefit from current changes and opportunities within the payments sector.

Data conversion service
For countries within the Eurozone, the requirement to use BIC and IBAN as the standard for domestic payments is well established. All account numbers will need to be changed by 2010 in accordance with the banks’ SEPA timeline. The data conversion service from Eiger Systems will help you achieve this quickly and efficiently by converting your existing domestic bank account details to IBANs and provide the corresponding BIC. Corporate Access service
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) will allow organisations and consumers to make euro payments to any beneficiary located anywhere in the euro area using a single bank account and a single set of payment instruments. To support the adoption of SEPA, VocaLink and Eiger Systems have developed a new Corporate Access service.  Requiring little investment or resource, this allows banks to offer a complete platform from which their corporate customers can submit euro payments quickly and easily.
