ACH - Automated Clearing House

A company or group responsible for sorting automated payment instructions to allow the transfer of funds electronically. ACH's are usually country specific and examples are BACS (UK), CHAPS (UK/Europe), CEC/UCV (Belgium), SIT (France), EMZ (Germany), SIA (Italy), Interpay/BGC (Netherlands), SICOI (Portugal) and SNCE (Spain)
